If you have never tried homemade butter, you have to make it. I never was a fan of butter until I made it myself. It could not be easier.
1 pint of heavy cream
mixer with a wire whisk
plastic wrap, you will see why
pinch of salt
All you do add the heavy cream to the mixer and mix on high until you get butter. You may want to put some plastic wrap around the mixer because when the liquid separates it goes everywhere. It takes about 15 minutes or so. I add a pinch of salt at the very end and whisk it for another minute. This usually gives me whipped butter, which I love. I tried to take some pictures as I went along. I hope it helps.
